Gosaikunda Helambu Trek Route
Gosaikunda Helambu Trek Itinerary begins with the drive to Syabrubesi, also the trek starting point. This is a small Tamang village located on the banks of the Bhote Koshi River. We reach Kyanjin Gompa and then climb Tsergo Ri the next day. From there, we get tremendous views of the Langtang Lirung (7,200m/23,622ft) range. Next, we continue trekking in the beautiful Langtang Valley and reach Gosaikunda, a revered pilgrimage place for Buddhists and Hindus. Moreover, the place is named after the glistening Gosaikunda Lake, whose water is believed to have magical healing powers. We pass by a few more lakes on our trek and cross the Laurebina Pass. Our trek in the Helambu Valley begins after crossing the pass. Another highlight of our hike is to reach the top of Ama Yangri at 3,800m. The view of the Himalayas from the top of the hill is believed to rival that of Poon Hill. From here, Mt. Shishapangma and the Langtang ranges seem so close that we feel that we can almost touch them. We continue trekking in the Helambu region for a few more days and end our remarkable journey to the mountains with a drive to Kathmandu
Gosaikunda Helambu Trek Difficulty
Langtang Helambu Trek is considered a moderate trek of the Langtang region because this trek is situated near Kathmandu valley. You have to trek for an average of 5 to 6 hours trek a day. This trek has some steep ridges like Laurebina Pass, so that you will need basic healthy physical preparation.
You can prepare for the trek by doing light cardio exercises like cycling, swimming, and jogging. Previous high altitude trekking will not be necessary to trek Goasikunda Helambu. This trek will take you to an altitude above 4500 meters at Gosaikunda Pass and reward you with wonderful scenery.

Trekking Information Management System (TIMS)
TIMS card is compulsory for all the tourist except Nepalese during the trek in Nepal. It will cost USD 20 per person per visit.
Langtang National Park Entry Fee
This trek crosses the Langtang National Park, and everyone must pay an entry fee during the trek. So you will need to pay USD 30 per person per entry to trek Langtang Gosaikunda.

Spring Season in Gosaikunda Helambu (March-May)

Weather is this season will be mild at lower elevation but slightly cold at the highest elevation. Generally, you will witness the best view of mountains in the morning, but there may be clouds in the afternoon
Summer Season in Gosaikunda Helambu (June-August)
During the summer in Gosaikunda Helambu, you will experience the cloudy morning with rain in the afternoons and evenings. Trekking will be uncomfortable as there will be a slippery and muddy trail. There will be a high risk of landslides and floods in hilly reason because of the rainy season. If you are willing to trek, then do not forget to carry the insect repellants. The temperature will reach from 20 to 35 degrees Celsius depending upon the region. This is not a good time to trek, but if you are fond of botanists and wanted to do research in forests and higher altitude, this will be the best time for you. However, places like Manang and Mustang lie under rain shadow, and this may be the best opportunity to explore these reasons.
